Habitat Ufficio è una storica rivista nel panorama
dell'architettura d'interni, arredamento e industrial design
per il settore terziario. Fondata nel 1981, in occasione di
questo suo 20° anniversario è stata completamente
rinnovata sia da un punto di vista grafico, per apparire più
piacevole e accattivante, sia da un punto di vista editoriale
per soddisfare tutte le esigenze di informazione dei propri
lettori. La rivista, diretta da Fabrizio Todeschini, architetto,
designer e cultore della materia presso il Politecnico di
Milano, si avvale della consulenza di Paolo Favaretto, designer
di fama internazionale specializzato proprio nel settore terziario
e di Alessandro Ubertazzi, architetto e docente di Disegno
Industriale presso il Politecnico di Milano.
La prima parte della rivista è dedicata alle informazioni
vere e proprie (calendario e resoconto degli eventi, novità
dalle aziende, spazi dedicati alle associazioni, alla ricerca
e alla tecnologia, con un approfondimento dedicato alla rete);
la seconda parte della rivista è invece dedicata ai
resoconti delle più importanti manifestazioni fieristiche,
alla pubblicazione di realizzazioni particolarmente significative,
all'incontro con i protagonisti del settore, alle aziende
e ai loro prodotti; nell'ultima parte si parla invece di benessere
e sicurezza e viene proposto uno speciale in cui vengono messi
a confronto prodotti della stessa categoria merceologica.
Habitat Ufficio, da sempre attenta alle esigenze di comunicazione
e promozione, si conferma tra le più autorevoli riviste
di settore, punto di riferimento per i professionisti e partner
ideale per le aziende che intendono promuovere i propri prodotti
sia sul mercato italiano che su quelli internazionali.

Habitat Ufficio is a well-established magazine that serves
the area of interior design, décor and industrial design
for the tertiary sector. First published in 1981, the magazine
marked its twentieth anniversary in 2001 by adopting both
a completely new graphic design, which makes it more attractive
and easier to consult, and a new editorial policy tailored
to satisfy its readers' demands for information.
Edited by Fabrizio Todeschini, architect, designer and researcher
in the discipline at Milan Polytechnic, the magazine also
avails itself of the invaluable input of Paolo Favaretto,
whose international acclaim as a designer is focused primarily
in the tertiary sector, and of Alessandro Ubertazzi, an architect
and lecturer in Industrial Design at Milan Polytechnic.
While the first part of every issue is devoted to up-to-the-minute
information and news (a calendar of events and summary reports
from recent ones, new product launches and other news from
manufacturers, special spaces earmarked for associations,
research and technology and a special section devoted to the
Internet), the second part consists of more in-depth reports
from leading specialised trade fairs, extensively illustrated
articles about particularly interesting works of tertiary
architecture, interviews with the key players who make the
office industry tick and descriptions of manufacturing firms
and their products. Each issue is then rounded out with a
third section, where the focus is on welfare and safety at
work, followed by a special showcase item that describes and
compares the products offered by different manufacturers in
the same category.
Habitat Ufficio was established twenty years ago to provide
a channel for communications and promotions. Over the years,
it has become one of the most authoritative voices in its
field, a work of reference for professionals and the ideal
partner for firms who want to communicate and promote their
products in ways that speak the same specialised language
both as the domestic Italian market and as the broader international
dimension.
